Baci's Creations

Baci's Creations is a mother/daughter team of crafters, Sandy and Karrie. The main designer behind most of the jewelry you will see is the mother, Sandy. She has been crafting for as long as I can remember and loves doing it. She started to make jewelry about 3 years ago and has never looked back. She has made almost everything under the sun, from sprays to clothing to stained glass etc. She has found something she really and truly loves, jewelry. Most of her items have been bought by word of mouth or many pieces have been bought right off of her! Her jewelry is being currently sold on Cape Cod and Marthas Vinyard in a shop called "Green Eyed Daisys". You can also find her at craft shows in the area.

Dancing Wind Designs

DancingWindDesigns makes hand woven seed bead creations-everything from jewelry to Christmas ornaments.

A lot of her creations are one of a kind, but if you have a color preference, you could contact her and she may create something for you by changing a color scheme.

She love playing with seed beads and color and only use good quality Japanese and Czech seed beads and hypo allergenic findings in her work. However, her designs are not designed for children simply because the beads she uses are small glass beads.

SEO 101

As great as ArtFire was, now they become more awesome because they're sharing the secret of SEO to us!

What is SEO?

As quoted from, SEO or Search engine optimization is a term used to describe the activities and actions taken by website owners in order to increase their page's rankings in search engines, usually for particular keywords. The goal of search engines is to return the best and most relevant content to their users (people performing searches). Search engines strive to answer a user's question (searches) with the best, most relevant information it can find in its index. This is why you need to make sure that the content on your page is "optimized" for what the majority of people looking for your product would be searching for.

Search engines use many, many factors in determining which pages to show and how those pages rank for different searches. The basic way that search engines work is:

  • Search engines use many, many factors in determining which pages to show and how those pages rank for different searches. The basic way that search engines work is:

  • Search engines can tell what content is on a page and what that page links to.

  • Spiders index pages and follow links to find new pages; they then repeat the process over and over again.

  • Search engines then use that data to build their index and it is that index that is used in displaying results to searches.

SEO is a serious matter for us, online sellers, as we want to reach the right target market for the products we're selling. Learn more about SEO 101:

GottJoy has been beading for about 10 years and this is her detash store. On her own words "I have been known to over indulge when purchasing beads, often buying 2, 3 or more strands when 1 strand was probably enough.

I have now decided to share my over stocked inventory with you, as I have just about taken over every room in the house.

I will continue to make jewelry and sell it in my other Artfire Studio "AccessoriesByGottjoy". And yes, I'll probably still over indulge myself when it comes to buying beads - which means I'll just have more to sell in my destash studio."

So I've been away for a while..

Some people might already informed that I was on a vacation with my fiance.. hehe.. He's visiting for 2.5 months so I might not be online as much in the next 2 months. lol.

So we went to Bali where one of my close friends got a wedding party to celebrate. She's married to an American Navy guy and just got the chance to visit Indo again after 5 years (been married for 4 years). They selected a place in Nusa Dua, Bali, as a place for their Christian blessing with a reception to follow. This would be the first time her hubby visited Indo. He was a nice guy and could talk some words in Indonesian. Fun!

Silly me, I was feeling overwhelmed by the packing routine and that I had to buy a dress in last minutes that I didn't bring any of my jewelry with me besides a couple of earrings and a bracelet. Darn me.. Especially since Bali is such a place to wear many layers of jewelry! And I got to meet many old friends, supposedly a good place to promote my jewelry too, right? Oh well..

Many pictures on my facebook.

btw, got me a new iMac right before our vaca. Love it!! iPhoto 09 is great! I can't believe I can edit the colors and everything on it and it's almost as good as Photoshop. maybe not as advanced, but really enough for photo editing for sure! That program rocks! Also I could upload my pictures straight to facebook from iPhoto. I think it automatically resized my pics as well. hurrah! (I hadn't figured the photo editing ability when I posted these pictures. So they were uploaded as is from my camera.)

Anyway, I'm back! And it was a great vacation :)
